jeroen_jump.pngEver since I was a child, I’ve been driven by two passions. Becoming an explorer and creating a more beautiful world. Given that the geographical world has been charted entirely, my passion has shifted toward dis-covering the deepest human wisdom and quest for what the human potential is. My idealism I would rather describe as idea-realism. You won’t find me on the street, waving a flag around in a protest march. I’d rather put my creativity and strategy to good use by figuring out how I can create real impact. My current strategy is the development of consciousness in the business world.

What does that mean?
For me, the development of consciousness means being able to transcend the limits of your own thinking, in order to work with creativity, inspiration and energy on the goal you feel passionate about. Considering a problem from the perspective of the development of consciousness opens up a different worldview of solutions. It helps you see that there’s no such thing as “away” when you throw things away. And that it’s not so much about the empty can on the ground, but about what people regard as their “garden”. The development of consciousness helps to get rid of ignorance and to see the underlying potential, and that’s exactly what I aim to realize in the business world.

Why the business world?
For me, this is a strategic choice. Organizations have a huge impact on the world. And while some people may regard this as a negative thing, I prefer to look at the potential which lies dormant in organizations. As I see it, companies can now make a conscious choice to put their expertise and knowledge toward a more inspiring workplace, products and services of actual quality, and a positive contribution in the world. These are the companies which are going to win the war for talent, for the highest market valuation, and therefore for market share, turnover and profit. These are the companies I want to help, and I’ll do anything to help them implement the methods and tools with which to win this competitive struggle.

My invitation
Following my personal inspiration, I will keep searching for “the Edge” of human and organizational development, because what else is really possible when we get rid of the chains which hold us down? If you resonate with this voyage of dis-covery, I’d like to invite you to share our knowledge, inspiration and creativity. As I see it, a better world is wanting to happen now. So let’s realize it.
